Representatives of the scientific youth of SSAU Maria Selivanova Olga and Sevostyanova became winners of the prestigious award of the regional head.
Award of the Governor of Stavropol Territory in the field of science and innovation has been awarded from 2015. To become its laureate, it is necessary to present the results of your own scientific research, which made a significant contribution to the development of natural, technical, social and human sciences, as well as the development of samples of new technology and advanced technologies. And this is the main criterion for the young scientist. Among the applicants are the best young scientists of the region: specialists without a degree in the age of 30 years, young candidates of science up to 35 years old and young doctors of sciences up to 40 years. If successful, they receive a cash prize of 100 thousand rubles.
Representatives of seven universities and research organizations of the region took part as candidates this year. The nominees specialized in organic chemistry, livestock production technology, meteorology, fluid mechanics, gas and plasma, breeding and seed production, dentistry, microbiology and oncology.
As a result of the selection of the best, one of the award winners is Maria Selivanova, a graduate of the Agronomic Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University, now a candidate of agricultural sciences, an associate professor of the department of production and processing of food products from vegetable raw materials, presented the developed technology for cultivating vegetable crops of open and protected soil to the jury. Recall that in 2015, M. Selivanova received a grant from the President of the Russian Federation to support young scientists - candidates of science and successfully passed all stages of the research project.
Another worthy winner from Stavropol State Agrarian University is the future candidate of biological sciences Olga Sevostyanova, who developed a vitamin and mineral complex of multivitamins that will be effective in poultry farming. O. Sevostyanova is also a graduate of the Agrarian University, in 2013 she graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and successfully works in her home university as an assistant at the Department of Therapy and Pharmacology.
