The results of work for 2022 were discussed in the educational and production center of agriculture in the Stavropol Territory as part of the implementation of the federal project "Professionality", which started this year at the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
On January 26, the heads of enterprises, industry partners of Professionalism, gathered within the walls of the Stavropol State Agrarian University to participate in a meeting of the management company. Today, the center includes 11 employers and 7 professional educational organizations of the region that implement educational programs of secondary vocational education in agriculture. As part of the project, 24 ultra-modern workshops were equipped, which are located on an area of more than 1000 square meters.
Since the start of the campaign, successful work has been carried out to attract students to the Professional programs. Together with partner employers, more than 50 events were held, more than 100 thousand people became participants. 138% completed the plan for admission to the Professional programs. 100% of the center's employees improved their skills. 43 teachers of the center were in production. 16 employees from production underwent professional retraining and received diplomas giving the right to conduct the educational process.
The meeting participants discussed the mechanisms for further involvement of employers in the project, expressed their proposals for improving the career guidance system with senior students and introducing competencies and practical exercises based on the demands of real production into curricula. They also noted that participation in the project will provide an opportunity to train in the region not just an excellent theoretical specialist, but a real professional, “tailored” to the requirements of the employer.
Opening the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Youth Policy, Professor Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov, noted that training in secondary vocational education programs is becoming more and more in demand among young people, and now 65% of ninth-graders choose the vocational education system:
- There is confidence that we are on the right track. We have one task: to prepare personnel that will suit employers. So that they are competent, trainable, so that they have the necessary competencies. So that there are more leaders among them who could generate new ideas and be the first assistants in the enterprise. Higher education teachers clearly understand that enterprises are always ahead of the educational process. Therefore, we are actively transforming. But employers also need to understand that the most advanced way to improve the level of training of specialists - this is how the whole world works - is early career guidance. You need to come to the school, trace the dynasties, identify interested children and help them decide on a profession and go to university. Yesterday 5 employers came to me asking for specialists. But among the graduates there are no agronomists or veterinarians. Already from the third year they have been sorted out from us. The state has provided an excellent tool - the "Professionality" program, which will help solve the personnel problem in the industry.
- I see that "Professionality" has done a lot to ensure that the guys not only get a profession, but also practice. We are happy to see them at our place so that they study in conditions close to those of the workers. I will give advice to students - from teachers it is worth absorbing all the theory that teachers give. I see that in the Stavropol agrarian they give very good knowledge, - said Olga Vladimirovna Ganyuta, Deputy General Director of Agroconsulting LLC.
- Specialists come to us at the enterprise and they often lack practical knowledge. Nowadays, teaching is based more on theory, which we are very unhappy with. Among economists, for example, there are very few people with the skills of automated accounting. We need employees who own modern software products. Great need for knowledge of modern technologies, in electronics. While we are at the very beginning of cooperation, but "Professionality" inspires hope. We need to move in this direction and make joint efforts. We are interested in getting a ready-made professional and not wasting time on his retraining, - shared her opinion Olga Sergeevna Kovylina, chief economist of the SPH of the Gigant collective farm.
