SSAU Volunteers are delegates of I Regional Congress

A team of volunteers of the two groups of SSAU "Tolk" and "Zabota" - presented Stavropol Agricultural University on the volunteer event - I Congress of the volunteers of the Stavropol Territory. The forum was held on the basis of "Sosnovy Bor" in Kislovodsk.

The event started with festive performances of creative student groups. The delegates were welcomed by guests: director of SBE ST "Center of youth projects" Boris Drobotov, chief specialist of the Department of Youth Policy of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the ST Ekaterina Zhukova, Project Manager of the Association of volunteer centers in Russia Artem Dudin, head ofvolunteer coaching programs, developer of volunteer program "Universiade 2019, Krasnoyarsk" Tatiana Igareva, deputy director of the volunteer center "Profi-Soci- League" Anton Panchenko.

As part of the Congress was held a roundtable discussion, debate and discussion on the key issues of the volunteer movement in Russia. In the process, the activists talked about the awareness and importance of volunteering and the role of volunteerism in the lives of young people, about the social activity of students, asked a number of interesting questions about the functions of volunteerism, forthcoming events and new developments at the federal level.

Artem Dudin placed special emphasis on the fact that today the volunteer activities are supported by the Russian President, and volunteers are a special human capacity of the country.

Three students and the head of the volunteer group "Tolk" a student of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance Maria Boyko participated in the organization of the Congress.
