Discussed issues of inclusive education

On June 30, on the basis of the Agrarian University, a regular meeting of the Council under the Governor of the Stavropol Territory on the education and development of scientific personnel potential was held, on the development of inclusive education in the province.

The Council discussed the results of the first year of implementation of federal state educational standards for students with disabilities, the human resources potential of the education sector.

15 thousand out of 2.5 million - there are so many children with disabilities in the province, and only 200 of them are not able to study. For others it is important and necessary to create special comfortable conditions. During the Council, the issues of readiness of educational organizations to create such conditions for the education of disabled children and children with disabilities were considered.

The meeting was attended by members of the Council, representatives of the regional ministries, public organizations, specialists of educational management bodies of administrations of municipal districts and city districts of the Stavropol Territory, heads of educational organizations of the region.

800 highly specialized teachers have been retrained, and young specialists are preparing for release. Thanks to the federal system "Affordable Environment", more than 20% of all educational institutions of the region are equipped with everything needed. Until the end of the program in 2020, 40 institutions will be available.
