Stavropol State Agrarian University is the first among the agricultural universities in the country!

Stavropol GAU at the end of 2016, took the first place among agrarian universities of Russia in the National ranking of universities, which was prepared by the international information group "Interfax".

The project "national rating of universities" is being implemented since 2010. Its main goal is the development of mechanisms and procedures of an independent assessment of Russian universities and their educational programs, improving the competitiveness of the Russian system of higher education, scientific research and technological entrepreneurship, the development of Federal and regional universities, considered as the frame of the new economy.

The activities of universities were evaluated on six parameters: education, research, social environment (the activity of universities in the social sector), international activity (internationalization), innovation and entrepreneurship (technology), brand (communications of the University with the audience).

In the overall ranking among the 238 universities in the country agrarian University became 72.

Such high results is a huge merit of the teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, recognition of their dedicated and hard work. This enormous work of the rector of the University Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, honored scientist of the Russian Federation, V. I., Trukhachev. He is not only a talented scientist, but a talented and wise leader. He encouraged all of the agricultural community to further improving the scientific and practical activities for the benefit of the Stavropol territory and Russia!
