Recertification of the environmental management system of the University

In early November 2016 Stavropol State Agrarian University successfully passed the procedure of recertification of the environmental management system, which was conducted by the experts of OOO "Stavropol regional center of certification".

The results of the audit, the University issued the Certificate of conformity of environmental management system to requirements of standard GOST R ISO 14001-2007 (ISO 14001:2004) with respect to activities in the field of education.

Environmental standards of ISO 14001, the company focus not only on implementation of environmental requirements, but primarily on continuous improvement and the implementation of various measures aimed at reducing harmful impact on staff and customers of the enterprise on the environment and conservation of natural resources.

Stavropol State Agrarian University the first certified environmental management system in 2010, but even today a certified environmental management system in the educational institution is today an isolated practice in the North Caucasus Federal district.

Its presence suggests that the University largely ensures not only the safety of working conditions and training of staff and students at Stavropol state agrarian University, and is working hard in the field of environmental protection in the city of Stavropol and Stavropol Region.
