The delegation of the University participated in the II International Educational Forum "Altai-Asia 2014: Eurasian educational space - New Challenges and Best Practices"

On September 25-28, 2014 in the framework of the II International Educational Forum "Altai-Asia 2014: Eurasian educational space - New Challenges and Best Practices", which took place in Altai State University, teachers and students of the Department of Economic Management of the Stavropol State Agrarian University: Ph.D., assistant professor Anton Nazarenko , Ph.D., teacher Zaporozhetc Dmitry Vasilyevich, undergraduates, the Chairman of the Student Committee for the quality of education of the SSAU Tutikova Elena attended the event.

The forum was held with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, the University of the Coordinating Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Russian Union of Rectors, the Association of Classical Universities of Russia, the Association of Asian universities. The Forum agreed involved experts from leading universities of the Russian Federation, as well as participants from ten countries and more than 70 universities - representatives of business and science, manufacturing, government and public figures of the Eurasian region, socio-economic sphere (over 300 people).

The objectives of the forum are:

- Discussion of topical issues of modernization of higher education systems in the Eurasian educational space;

- Finding ways to increase the competitiveness of universities;

- Contributing to the efficient solution of problems of higher education at the present stage of development.

During the forum, on the first of its day, the grand opening of the educational forum "Altai-Asia 2014", which was followed by a plenary session consisting of two case studies: “Modern Trends in Higher Education” and “Integration processes in higher education" The Central Asia universities’ presidents and the experts in the field of higher education became moderators and key speakers. Open lectures were delivered by leading scientists of Siberia, which were organized by the All-Russian Student Workshop "Quality education - the path to a successful career", in which the chairman of the Student Committee for the quality of education of the SSAU Elena Tutikova made a report “Role of the student in improving the quality of education: experience of the Stavropol State Agrarian University”.
