Webinar of the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM)

On February 6, 2015, the Centre of the quality management in education participated in the webinar, which was conducted by the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM). The webinar was devoted to the topic of use of the EFQM assessment matrix as a tool for management and business improvement. The presentation was made by the EFQM Manager for programs and training Maxim- Henry Lagrilliere. Representatives of European and international organizations participated in the work of the webinar.

In his presentation Maxim - Henry Lagrilliere informed the participants of the webinar on the use of the EFQM assessment matrix in business, explained how to use effectively the system for planning and control of the business and to review performance. He stressed the importance of the matrix for the EFQM Excellence Model. It was pointed out that at present this matrix is widely used in organizations to determine the level of development of the organization in relation to the EFQM Excellence Model, as well as priority areas for improvement that will help organizations achieve their strategic goals. Information gathered during the self-assessment can be used as a basis for writing documents for the participation in the EFQM Excellence contest.

During the webinar, the staff of the Centre of quality management in education had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers. At the end of the webinar the staff of the department discussed the heard information.
