All-Russian quest for financial literacy

The Agrarian University welcomed all school students, who wished to know the basic financial concepts and principles, learn more about the existing financial risks and protect their rights, and also discuss these topics with experts on April 11.

Russian Federation "Promoting the level of financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation", was held at sites in 8 cities of Russia: Barnaul, Arkhangelsk, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Kazan, Saratov, Tomsk.

Lapina, Manager of the Financial Game Ekaterina Gotovtseva (Moscow).

At the beginning of the quest with the help of stickers, differing in color and shape, the participants were divided into 16 teams. The main task for the guys now is to go through all the gaming stations and earn as many points as possible. Each group started the game with one of 4 gaming stations: "Acquaintance and communication", "Budget", "Purchases and security", "Accumulation", then the teams, accompanied by volunteers, consistently moved around the stations.

At each game point, children were greeted by gambling equipment - members of the college volunteer unit "Finansist" issued tasks, tracked the time, fixed the results and charged game points. In addition, at the gaming stations, the experts were teachers of the department of financial management and banking, who monitored the game and responded to inquisitive questions from participants.

To solve the tasks, the participants had to apply not only their knowledge, but also their personal experience, because the questions were asked the most different. Here are just a few of them:

- In front of you on the tables are things (shell, skin, coin, banknote, share, plastic card), which are combined in the history of finance in one word. Arrange these things in the chronological order of their origin and name the unifying word. Explain why you put things in this order.

- Imagine that you were left alone at home, and your parents left for a couple of days. You left 2 thousand rubles. And just in case a card with 5 thousand rubles. In the account - for food and unforeseen expenses. Your actions: eat in a cafe, because the money will be enough in excess; Buy something that is not always welcomed by parents (crisps, cola, chocolate) and eat plenty, and then come what may; Look on the Internet recipes, make a list of products and go shopping - for two days to learn how to cook and treat their parents. Make a choice and justify your answer in terms of common sense.

- You need to write, with help of whatman and markers, which cities are depicted on modern banknotes of the Russian Federation and list the signs of these banknotes.

- The schoolboy conducted an experiment at home: under always loosely closed faucets in the bathroom, washbasin and kitchen set a glass with a volume of 250 ml. For a day in the kitchen, there were two glasses, in the bathroom - 0.5, in the washbasin - one. Remember: saving water helps not only the budget of an individual family, but also contributes to saving natural resources. How many liters of water does the boy's family lose per month, and a year?

At the end of the game players and experts summed up the game. In anticipation of the results, the guys managed to compete actively in the financial quiz and share their brightest impressions.

According to the representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory and the game experts, all participants undoubtedly showed brilliant results in financial knowledge, for which they were awarded memorable gifts. But, as in any competition, the winners were singled out. They are young residents of the Stavropol Territory: Prisichenko Danil, Olga Surnaeva, Sushin Artem, Ivanova Alexandra, Zlobin Nikita, Zorin Nikita, Tarzhumanova Ilona. From the hands of the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Stavropol Territory Yury Ivanovich Suslov, the children received diplomas and prizes.
