The volunteer squad project "Dobrovolets" of SSAU is the winner of the regional youth contest "Bright Angel"

On April 17, the solemn ceremony of awarding laureates of the Young Talents Contest organized by the Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Stavropol Diocesan Orthodox Youth Movement "Grad Cross" and the Institute of Friendship of the Peoples of the Caucasus took place.

For 10 years, the first day after the Resurrection of Christ is celebrated in the region as the Day of Orthodox Youth. With the blessing of His Eminence Cyril, Metropolitan of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssky, the contest "Bright Angel" was announced for this event.

In 2017, the volunteer project "Do not Take Your Own Tomorrow" at Stavropol State Agrarian University became the winner of the "Sacrificial Heart" nomination. This new victorious height was another reward for the two-year-old teamwork of the university’s volunteer squad “Dobrovolets.

Inna Kuliyeva, the author of the project is the student of the 3rd year of the Accounting and Financial Department of the SSAU, was presented by the chairman of the jury of the contest, His Eminence Cyril, Metropolitan of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk.

According to the idea of ​​the organizers, this contest is held in order to support socially significant youth initiatives aimed at finding moral meanings and spiritual landmarks in modern society. Note that in total for the contest in 2017, more than 150 applications were submitted, and the nomination for social design became the most numerous. The more pleasant is the victory for our students. We wish the friendly team of the "Volunteer" detachment to accomplish as many good deeds as people need.
