Teach computer literacy skills of older inhabitants of Stavropol

Since September 27, 2016 began classes on computer literacy for pensioners, residents of the regional center. They are organized at the Institute of Aadditional Professional Education of Stavropol State Agrarian University, and conducted by experienced tutors of the information systems department.

Training will be carried out within one month (until 28 October 2016) and at the same time in the two areas of the city. There are two places: the South-West region of the town - Lyceum number 15 of Stavropol and in the center - the Institute of Additional Professional Education FSBEE IN "Stavropol State Agrarian University." 80 students will acquire the basic skills and knowledge of information and communication technologies. In addition to obtaining the basic concepts of the most important tools on the computer, they will be able to master the means of graphical on-screen interface, learn how to use standard computer programs, e-government resources and funds a network of support and advice, of course, work with e-mail. At the end of training program participants will be given certificates.

Such training for the elderly has been made possible thanks to the implementation of public contracts signed by Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Stavropol Territory.
