Cooperation with scientists from Israel: new perspectives
A working meeting of the representatives of Stavropol State Agrarian University and colleagues from the University of Jerusalem took place in the breeding factory for the breeding of dairy cattle of the Holstein breed LLC "AgroFirm" Voroshilov Village".
Professors of the Faculty of Technological Management of SSAU N.Z. Zlydnev, S.A. Oleinik, Associate Professor N.V. Belugin had a fruitful conversation with Israeli colleagues - doctors Moshe Rehes and Alexander Markovich, as well as with the General Director of the agricultural firm "Voroshilov Village" Yu. G. Kaishev and his deputy S.R. Shakhvaliev.
This breeding farm is one of the flagships of dairy cattle breeding in Stavropol and a strategic partner of the Agrarian University. By the end of 2017, the agricultural firm plans to reach the level of milk cow productivity of 10 thousand kg of milk per 1 cow. At the same time, the quality of milk is at the level of European standards. As a rule, the level of somatic cells here does not exceed 200 thousand cells / ml. This allows us to receive high-quality milk raw materials and transfer it to the enterprise for the production of high-quality dairy products - Pyatigorsk mill plant.
During the conversation with the General Director Yuri Grigorievich Kaishev and his Israeli colleagues, agreements were reached and joint efforts were made on the promising areas of development of the dairy cattle breeding industry in the farm and in Stavropol region, as well as raising the skills of livestock specialists at the production base of the breeding farm.
