The Government of the Stavropol Territory and the consulting company Vostock Capital acted as the organizers of the event, in which agroholdings and government officials will discuss over 50 investment agricultural projects of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District for crop production and livestock production.

The oldest agricultural higher educational institution of the Stavropol Territory, the flagship of agrarian education in Russia - the Stavropol State Agrarian University is already the second time chosen as an international professional platform of this level for representatives of the agrarian market, government and business. Responding to the challenges of the time, the forum is made to ensure not only the exchange of experience and the search for solutions, but also the consolidation of joint efforts to attract investments in the agro-industrial complex of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts, and the activation of the region's social and economic development.

For the main subject dialogue on "AgroJuge - 2017" the theme "New growth opportunities, transformation of business models and commercial success", which will allow to conduct a productive conversation about the prospects for the development of the regional agro industry, introduction of innovative technologies and working methods in the industry, aspects of ensuring food security.

Among the 800 registered participants of the forum are the heads of the largest agroholdings and agricultural enterprises, farms, many of which the university connects with the ties of strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation; governmental delegations of heads of regional ministries of agriculture and enterprises of agro-industrial complex of Kalmykia, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Server Ossetia-Alania, Dagestan, and Chechnya.

"We gathered in the walls of our beloved Agrarian University, the" forge of cadres "for the agro-industrial complex of the region," Nikolai Velikdan, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Stavropol Territory, said opening the forum. Carrying out an honorable mission, on behalf of the governor of the territory Vladimir Vladimirov, he wished effective discussions of the coryphaees of agricultural production and young workers of the agrarian sphere sitting in the hall, and the forum, first of all, "to grow in quality" so that the industry would move forward more intensively.

According to the general director of Vostock Capital, Oksana Fedoseyeva, within the framework of the forum where more than 90 speakers will speak, a landmark signing of investment agreements will take place and the ceremony of awarding the best companies of the South of Russia in nominations: "The most dynamically developing enterprise", "Innovative development" , "Sustainable growth", "Environmentally friendly products of the year", "Perspective growth".

Business dialogue of the first day of "AgroYug - 2017" with the special economic presentation "Development of agriculture in the South of Russia" began the general director of the company "Thaler Investment" Andrey Kipa. The expert shared with the audience the most important plots of the conducted research and dwelled on the basic trends in the development of the agrarian sector of the macroregion, stressing that "the AIC of the South of Russia is far from exhausting its investment potential."

Session # 1 "Innovative development of the agro-industrial complex and modernization: practical examples, technologies, equipment" was continued by the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Sitnikov. The head of the regional agrarian department, being a graduate of the Agrarian University, thanked for his assistance in organizing the important forum of the rector of the SSAU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Truhachev.

"In the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory we are seeing an investment boom," Agriculture Minister V. Sitnikov further stressed, expressing his disagreement with the previously announced results of the study. Indeed, it was only in 2016 that more than 20 billion rubles were allocated to agriculture in the region, 142 directions were open for investment, and 9 programs were in operation. The problem is seen in another - in providing infrastructure for investment projects. Addressing the scientists present in the hall, Vladimir Nikolaevich also spoke about the importance of the symbiosis of science and industry, when the agricultural producer can get concrete scientific and practical recommendations on the development, for example, of the No-till direct seeding technology, which the agrarians use.

But if "plant growing still moves with leaps and bounds", and there will be a clear breakthrough in this, then this will not happen to livestock. According to the minister, all state support measures should now be directed to this sphere, since only in five cattle-breeding farms of the region there is a good economy. "This will save our villages!" - assured the head of the regional ministry of agriculture V. Sitnikov, concerned also with a serious outflow of personnel from the industry.

The fact that the future of the country's agriculture, like all of its economy as a whole, largely depends on the speedy introduction of new technologies, was confirmed in the subsequent speeches by other participants in the discussion. Sergey Zhukov, Vice-President of GLONASS, co-director of the working group "Aeronet NTI" (National Technological Initiative), expressed their point of view and proposals on the promotion of advanced technologies in the agrosphere; Alexander Petrov, General Director of "Irriko"; Marat Zolin, Deputy General Director, Development Director of Agrosila (Republic of Tatarstan); Roman Bondarev, Operations Director, "RZ Agro / Russian Land"; Malika Shamatova, Deputy Head of the Department for the Development of Corporate Business and Strategic Management "Rosagroleasing" and Natalia Sazonova, general director of the Non-Discrete Innovation Cluster of Small Aviation.

"- said Vladimir Ivanovich, about what he said yesterday at a meeting of the" United Russia "faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. "Individual plans are possible for the preparation of future farmers, where there will be a place and good practice, and the necessary theoretical knowledge. The personnel problem is solved, and it is possible - at the Stavropol State Agrarian University! "- summed up the rector.
