Actual problems and achievements of regional market systems

The III International Scientific and Practical Conference, dedicated to the problems and prospects for the development of the region, brought together students of the university at the Faculty of Economics.

In the annual conference held on April 19-20, the students of five faculties took part: economic, accounting, financial, social and cultural services and tourism, agrobiology and land resources. The performances of the participants were combined in the framework of the work of the plenary and sectional sessions, as well as the business game "Marketing-Blitz".

The plenary session was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina. In her address to the audience, she recalled that the problems of this scientific event are relevant and on behalf of the organizing committee and herself personally wished all participants to stay at the conference in response to the situation - the question and the answer.

Further, with the report "Analysis of the agro-industrial potential of the Stavropol Territory: prospects for development", Alexander Nikolaevich Zolotarev, the head of the department for economic analysis and forecasting of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, made a speech. The system of strategic planning of the region (results and directions of development on the example of the Volgograd region) was presented by Natalia Nikolaevna Kosinova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Corporate Finance and Banking at Volgograd State University. Anna Petrovskaya, a student of the 3rd year of the Economics Faculty of StGAU, delivered a speech in English "Benchmarking as a way to strengthen your brand", prepared under the guidance of the associate professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the Agroindustrial Complex, E. G. Agalarova.

The scientific part of the conference was continued in the format of the sectional meeting, at which the students' presentations were presented. The theme of the report of Ushakova Victoria was "Identity and brand positioning" (supervisor - associate professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the Agroindustrial Complex S. Alivanov). Irina Rudik highlighted the main directions of the state program "The development of agriculture in the Stavropol Territory in 2016-2021. (Supervisor - associate professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the agro-industrial complex V. V. Kurennaya).

The final of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems and achievements of regional economic systems" was the holding of the business game "Marketing-Blitz".
