The State Agrarian University achievements to agro industry of the country
On April 5-7, scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University worked at the largest Russian site - "Agrouniversal - 2017".
The organizers of the XIX specialized agro-industrial exhibition of agricultural machinery, technologies and services for the agro-industrial complex, traditionally unfolded in the town of Mikhailovsk, were the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory and the company AVA, with the support of the regional government. More than 100 enterprises of Russia, countries from near and far abroad gathered here on 7 thousand square meters of the complex.
The exhibition was opened by the Chairman of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory Gennady Yagubov, Chairman of the Stavropol Territory Duma Committee on Agrarian and Land Issues, Nature Management and Ecology Ivan Bogachev, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Stavropol Territory Nikolai Velikdan, Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Sitnikov.
The leading enterprises of material and technical support of the Stavropol Territory, enterprises that produce agricultural tillage and sowing machinery and equipment, large suppliers and producers of equipment, components and, of course, leading scientists of the Stavropol Agrouniversity with their own scientific developments take part in the exhibition. In their opinion, the exhibition gives an additional impulse for further searching for the solution of the most important tasks of the agricultural production sector, contributes to the expansion of the geography of professional cooperation.
At present, the scientists of the Stavropol State University have achieved significant success in solving urgent problems of the region's agro-industrial complex. Developments of the representatives of the university scientific community are of great practical value and, therefore, are of great interest both to the visitors of the Agrouniversal exhibition and to international outbound exhibitions, where they are systematically awarded with medals and diplomas.
