The use of high technologies in fertilizer distribution within the system of accurately and traditional farming

A series of lectures under additional curriculum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, executives and senior specialists of agricultural organizations of the Stavropol region.

At the department of agricultural chemistry and physiology of the faculty of agrobiology plants and land resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University is in full swing reading teachers lectures on additional curriculum "The use of high technologies in fertilizer distribution within the system of accurately and traditional farming."

On 28th November the lecture was attended by the first deputy minister of agriculture of the Stavropol region Kovryga Roman, who told the students about the priority directions of agriculture development in the Stavropol region.

On 29th November the lecture was attended by the head of the Laboratory of GIS-technologies Sergei Antonov. The theme of his speech became a basis of reference for precision farming systems and the use of remote sensing technology in agriculture.

On 30th November the lecture for the future farmers "Drip irrigation systems for the cultivation of corn" was attended by the director of LLC (Limited Liability Company) "Agrosfera" Alexander Portnov and the director of sales in European, Middle East and Africa Ralph Jones. The representative of the company Agro Summit in the North Caucasus region Mikhail Balatsky reported a strong platform for the development of products, marketing and logistics in the agrarianl sector.

According to the university professors, the participation of representatives of departmental and production structures of the agrarian sector of the region in the lectures and other activities for students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University is very positive for the new generation of farmers, and it will certainly continue.
