The experience of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and leading specialists of agro-industrial complex of Stavropol region- the future of farmers in the region

At the Faculty of Agrobiology and land resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University on 28th November began a series of lectures open to the representatives of departmental and production structures of the agrarian sector.

First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol region Kovryga Roman opened a series of lectures for students of the 3rd year, he said "On the priority directions of development of agriculture in the Stavropol region."

During his speech, R. Kovryga emphasized the four main vector of development of regional agriculture: support and development of small farms, cooperatives, development of horticulture and viticulture, development of dairy cattle breeding. Great interest among students has caused small forms of support for agribusiness theme in the form of grant programs for 2017, where the amount of state support beginning farmers will be up to three million rubles.

At the end of the lecture, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol region, visited innovative laboratory of two faculties - Agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture, where he got acquainted with the priorities of university research activities.
