Festival of bread in the South of Russia

Scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the traditional «Festival of bread in the South of Russia» sponsored by the South guild bakers, confectioners, hospitality industry together c the Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners, with the support of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the government of Stavropol region.

As part of this major event, which is always, except for the holiday, and features a rich business program, on 25th November a meeting of the thematic round table «Russian village: a look into the future». Participants began his professor Natalia Bannikovа, head of the Department of Business and the Global Economy, and Andrei Baydakov, head of the Department of Management, as well as students of faculties - Economics and Technological Management.

The topical issues of the discussion was attended by: head of the Department of Economic Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol region Alexander Zolotoryov, head of the grain quality laboratory of Federal State Scientific Institution «Stavropol Research Institute of Agriculture» Natalia Alekseevna Galushko, acting head of the branch of Moscow Industrial Bank Svetlana Kozlova, co-chairman of the Stavropol regional department of Limited Liability Company «Business Russia» Sergey Stepanov.

The keen interest in discussing the problems of the modern village and took away our land - the chairman of the All-Russian Public Movement of Rural Women of Russia, member of the Presidium of ACCOR Nadezhda Bezbudko and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Accor Russia, President ACCOR in Rostov region Alexander Rodin.

Of particular interest is the round table participants raised questions of further development of grain production and grain market in the Stavropol region and in the country as a whole, the problems of small farms in rural areas, especially state support of farmers, improving the prospects for rural areas.

In addition, we note that in the conduct of Bread Festival in the South of Russia Stavropol State Agrarian University has always involved the exposition of its innovative developments. This year, a worthy place in it occupied the debut of new items - cakes «Honey Mountain with caraway seeds» from the representatives of the faculty of Technology Management, as well as muffins with pieces of dried jujube - a joint development with the department of food products from vegetable raw materials of the faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources. To note, the fruit jujube (Chinese dates) contain plant insulin, therefore, in spite of the sweet taste, useful in diabetes.

Visiting students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University of innovative events Bread Festival in the South of Russia, they are involved in numerous master classes for teachers of view, it is an additional means of expanding professional horizons, including new technological solutions, and the formation of competences, so necessary to future farmers.

In this regard, it is worth noting the usefulness of an open lecture entitled «Trajectory of career», held at the faculty of socio-cultural Service and Tourism. Specialists in baking E. Zabelin (Vice President of Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners, company director of the bakery «Acri») and B. Bieńkowsky (Vice President of Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners t, President of scientific enterprise «Altai Guild of Bakers and Confectioners», the President of group of companies «Russian field») told the students about advanced flour bread production technologies, the secrets of baking muffins and lush Russian pocket-shaped buns, Stavropol and specialists, in turn, shared their experience in the art of baking. Themselves as the guests were delighted with the innovative equipment of the hotel studios and advanced educational technologies used in the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
