Scientists of the SSAU presented their scientific research in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory

Scientists of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources took part in the meeting of Research and Technology Council of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory in the subpanel “Horticulture”.

Professor A.N. Esaulko, V.S. Tskhovrebov, A.I. Voyskovoy, G.R. Dorozhko, assistant professors O. Vlasova, A.P. Shutko, M.S. Sigida, A.V. Loshakov have discussed the optimization of complete fallow land in the Stavropol Territory.

Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Professor A.N. Esaulko gave a report on the development of optimal cropping patterns depending on the soil-climatic zone and made a number of proposals to the topic: 1) recording and inventory of agricultural land by type of land; 2) monitoring crop conditions; 3) adjustment of complete fallow land in the arid zone; 4) and especially in areas of unstable and sufficient moisture.

Following the results of the meeting it was decided to resume work on optimizing the areas of complete fallow in our region.

The next issue of the meeting was the discussion and approval of the themes for scientific research, experimental design and technological works in the field of crop production in 2016
