Students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University teach computer literacy for pensioners

At the Stavropol State Agrarian University completed computer courses for pensioners "Novice."

The joint project was organized by the Pension Fund of Russia for the Stavropol Territory and the Department of Information Systems of the Faculty of Economics at the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The students were as teachers of training areas "Business Informatics" and "Information Systems and Technologies" of the Faculty of Economics, headed by the chair of D.V. Shlaevym.

Program courses included learning the basics of dealing with the computer, work with the services of the Internet, open sessions of various organizations for services provided in electronic form.

Within two months the course participants mastered operating systems, word processing, graphics, e-mail and Skype.

As a result of passing the course, students were awarded certificates of completion and tutorials "ABC of the Internet."
