Science City: common themes and perspectives

In late November 2015 in Moscow there took place a number of significant events in the direction of development of scientific youth projects. Participant of several of them was the post graduate student of the department of ecology and landscape construction (Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture) I.S. Chuksin.

His project "Internet of vegetables" is the winner of the grant of Youth Forum "Mashuk - 2015". I.S. Chuksin participated in the International Conference on financing for small and medium-sized enterprises in the agricultural sector and related sectors of the economy, which was held at the Moscow Physical-Technical Institute. The Forum was supported by "Biofarmcluster North" and "Center of living systems" MIPT. In the context of the conference there were discussed issues of SME financing through banks, financial institutions and government programs focused on growing segments of the market, promising to attend SMEs. Participation of specialists with international experience in financing SMEs in the value chain enabled us to formulate approaches to creating instruments, financial schemes and mechanisms for the implementation of pilot projects presented at the forum.

Also, the post graduate student of SSAU was invited as an expert to the Russian Congress of Young Entrepreneurs 2015, held on the basis of the university named after Plekhanov in the nationwide event "Days of mentoring in business."

The congress was attended by over 270 young entrepreneurs from 30 regions of the Russian Federation. "This is a communication platform to discuss topical issues of development of youth entrepreneurship, the vector of development of entrepreneurial education in Russia, presentation of best practices and the development of youth entrepreneurship and projects of finalists of the Russian contest" Young Entrepreneur of Russia - 2015 "- gave a comment I.S.Chuksin.

The event was an exhibition of young entrepreneurs "Made in Russia", which could be visited by all the participants and guests, and there was a presentation Business Youth Alliance.

The Development Fund for Internet initiatives in the financial and expert support to projects at the early stages of implementation, the project of the post graduate student of SSAU Ivan Chuksin was selected and entered into the database of consulting programs to build an ecosystem of Internet entrepreneurship. The Foundation's mission is to promote the development of the necessary infrastructure and conditions which are conducive to the emergence of a full-fledged industry in the Russian small and medium sized online businesses.

Chuksin also took part in the business program of the II congress of industrial parks, which took place at two sites: the innovation center "Skolkovo" in the business center of Silver City. The meeting was dedicated to best practices in cooperation with research centers in technology parks and universities. Participants of the event provided an overview of existing models of relations "Technopark - University" and "Technopark - Scientific Center" in Europe and Asia, showed a model of best practice in Finland, Turkey, Iran. In addition, there was a discussion of best practices in working with different target groups aimed at creating teams of residents of technology parks and business incubators.

And yet another event where Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by young scientists, was the "Agro Day in Skolkovo - 2015", the actions which took place in Hypercube Innovation Center "Skolkovo". A brand new and unique agro direction - "Biotechnology in agriculture and industrial microbiology" was discussed there. Profile experts from agroregions, federal administrative structures, the largest agricultural holdings and representatives of the biotechnology science discussed the development of innovations in agro- and biotechnology. Summary of the " Agro Day": the production of high-quality agricultural and biotech products with high added value for internal consumption and exports is a key task in the development of agro-industrial complex of Russia. The active use of innovative biotechnological solutions is the key to the efficiency of agriculture and food industry.
