Rural Tourism in Russia: Trends and Prospects

University was held the scientific-practical conference "State and prospects of rural tourism development in the Russian Federation."Forum organizers: Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, "Stavropol State University."The conference will be attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Elena Astrakhantseva, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Stavropol Territory Irina Kuvaldina, representatives of departments of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, heads of agricultural counseling centers, the rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor V. I.Truhachev.In the frames of conference there will be familiarization tour of the information display facilities in rural tourist routes in Kochubeevsky and Izobilnensky areas. Also, a round table and panel discussions involving issues of rural employment in the field of tourism services, the role of rural tourism in the socio-economic development of villages, training for the organization of rural tourism in Stavropol State Agrarian University and others.
