The experience exchange with foreign partners

Teachers of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land resources - Prof. G.R. Dorozhko, associate professors O. Vlasov, E. Romanenko, M. Sigida - took part in the seminar "Russia - Argentina: the prospects for cooperation in the region." Participants – heads of agricultural enterprises, representatives of scientific organizations and business associations of Stavropol Krai and Argentina.

Opened the seminar, President of the Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners Y. Katznelson and the president of South guild of bakers, confectioners, hospitality I. Lyakisheva. Presentations were made by the president of the company "Antigrad Latinoamericana C.A." Jose Fernando Nadra Beltramone (Buenos Aires, Argentina), the head of the Moscow office of UNEP V. Moshkalo, Senior Regional Advisor initiative "Poverty and Environment UNEP Regional Office for Europe" Nara Luvsan (Geneva).

Jose Fernando Nadra Beltramone presented agricultural machinery, produced by his firm, and told about the technology of No-till («The system of zero tillage"). Argentina is the world leader in the application of technology "zero tillage". At the global level, direct seeding technology has spread even in those regions where it was extremely difficult to talk about the positive results of its application. It gives good results both in Russia and in Stavropol region. G. Dorozhko talked about the features of growing wheat No-till technology in the southern regions of Russia. Then the participants discussed the issues of investment and innovation in the region, the possibilities of new technologies in agribusiness.
