Intellectual game "My Ecology" was dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia
The students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of the State Agrarian University have called to unite efforts in the struggle against environmental problems.
In 2017, proclaimed by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.Putin, the Year of Ecology and Specially Protected Areas, the task of attracting attention of the public, especially of the younger generation, to the issues environment state and ensuring environmental safety became of top-priority.
Over 100 students of the 1st and 2nd courses of the direction "Ecology and Nature Management" took part in the intellectual game "My Ecology", which was organized to popularize environmental knowledge, develop students' creativity and interest in research and development activities in the study and preservation of the natural environment and human health, as well as the formation of ecological culture.

Competition "Its own ecology" was alive and dynamic. Within two hours the participants answered questions from the proposed topics. Among the categories of the 1st round were: "Species adaptations", "Biological rhythms", "Interpopulation relationships" and "Events". The second round consisted of the categories: "Transformation of Ecosystems", "Man and Nature", "Laws of Ecology", "The World of Scientists". In the third round the game with the audience took place, the 4th round was held in the format "Globe", and the 5th was crowned with a contest of captains. The homework for the teams was the theme:"City of the Future".
Correctness of the answers and fulfillment of the teams’ tasks was judged by the jury consisting of the chairman A.N. Esaulko, the dean of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, the doctor of agricultural sciences, the professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as associate professors L.V. Maznitsyna, E.E. Stepanenko, A.A. Belovolova, V.Ya. Lysenko, S.V. Okrut.
The game was visited by members of the expert commission for social and professional accreditation, chaired by Yurukov Iliev Stepan, candidate of agricultural sciences, professor, professor of the University of Forestry (Sofia, Bulgaria), member of the specialized scientific council in the field of forestry and ecology, member of the attestation commission of Bulgaria, member of the editorial board Journal "Forestry", nominated by the Bulgarian National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (NEAA).
According to the jury, the preparation of the teams was good. During the game, the teams scored the appropriate number of points, which determined the winners.
The first place was taken by the team of the 4th year course "Nature Defenders"!
In the nomination "The Best Captain" won Georgy Kolesnichenko, who heads the team of freshmen "Vita". By the way, it was his "Vita" who became the leader in the nomination "The most erudite team". And the participant of this team, freshman Susanna Zosimova became the "The Best Player".
In the other categories, the teams showed themselves as follows: "The most united" jury recognized the team of 2nd year students “Life Capsule"; "The most active" is the team of the 3rd year students of Ekolayf. The third-year students turned out to be "the most active fans".
