Continuity of generations
To the 70th anniversary of Great Victory: we should remember - impossible to forget!
On March 5, 2015 at the Electric Power Faculty passed Interuniversity Student Conference "We should remember - it is impossible to forget!", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 85th anniversary of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Its organizers - teachers of the Department Philosophy and History Associate Professor N.A. Kanz, Professor I. I.Gulyak and vice-dean of Electric power faculty Sh. G. Gabrielyan. The students of the 3rd year of HPE "Russian Academy of National Economy under the President of the Russian Federation" (Stavropol branch) took an active part in it.
The conference was opened by N.A .Kanz. Turning to the students, she said that they are the last generation that sees veterans, can talk to them, hear everything from them, and that their children will not do it, so you need to remember as much as possible and then talk to your children about the great people - the Great Patriotic War.
Then there was a unique watching film from the archives of Nazi Germany's invasion in Voroshilovsk (now Stavropol) and Armavir, shot on German tape, dated August 1942. After watching there was interesting discussion.
The 1- st year students of the Electric Power Faculty Sergey Shivarev, Artem Kataoko, Alexander Avtononov, Irina Tyutyunnikova under the leadership of N.A. Kanz prepared informative reports about the capture of Voroshilovsk in summer 1942 and its release in January 1943, about the life of our native university during the war, its work in the post-war recovery. The speaker also was a student of the Russian Academy of National Economy under the Russian Federation President Eugeniy Miller. Active Members of center "Patriot", collecting information of veterans-employees of SSAU, told the students about the life and fate, heroism of World War II veterans: Yuri Germanovichi Abdulevskiy, Boris Danilovich Katrich, Pavel Alexandrovich Rubtsov, Vladimir Naumovich Shafir, Valentin Vasiliyevich Krivosheev, Alexander Fedorovich Pavlov, Gennady Michailovich Fedorishenko, Ivan Pavlovich Matyunin.
We bow our heads before those who courageously fought the enemy - not thinking about difficulties, nor about the awards, and wanted to expel evil spirits from their native land to hear the ringing laughter of children again, to see the smiles on people's faces, so they again can live happily, love and work in joy.
