Memory is stronger than time

Visiting the Museum of the Great Patriotic War "Remembrance" and a visit to the memorial "Eternal Fire of Glory" of Stavropol by freshmen of SSAU timed to the glorious date in Russian history.Excursion for 1 st year students of the Faculty of Technology Management headed by Associate Professor S.N. Shlykov, senior lecturer T. S. Aleksandrova and methodologist E.Y. Rymarevich began with a visit to the Memorial "Fire of Eternal Glory." We remind you that for the third year 3rd of December is celebrated in Russian Federation the Day of unknown soldier - in memory of the Russian soldiers who died in combat operations in the country and abroad.Do not forgotten by students of Agrarian University and other date. First of December marks 120 years since the birth of the Soviet commander, Marshal of the Soviet Union, holder of two Orders "Victory" Georgy Zhukov. What about the great commander, who saved the country from the fascist yoke knows the youth? What is the feat of the Komsomol, the first woman of the Hero of the Soviet Union - Zoe Kosmodemyanskaya? How the country's population was provided with food during the Great Patriotic War? On these and other questions young people have found answers in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War "Remembrance" in the regional center. Head of the Department Lyudmila Eduardovna Maklasova held a brilliant trip, teeming with vivid examples, interesting historical facts. For future technologists special emphasis was put on providing residents with food during the Great Patriotic War - the guide told about the work of the bakeries in the regional center in wartime.A striking addition served as a reminder of the exhibit, the botanical composition of plants, which the residents of besieged Leningrad could eat without harm to health. At the end of session there was documentary about the siege of Leningrad.
