Working summer at the cosmodrome "Vostochny"

From July, 10 to August, 26, 2015 members of the student building team of Stavropol State Agrarian University "Masterok" worked at the All-Russian building site of the cosmodrome "Vostochny" in Amur region in the town of Uglegorsk. The team included the students of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and that of Farm Mechanization Alexey Vavilin, Igor Vorobtsov, Kazi Omarov, Kirill Fil, Alexey Chudik, Vyacheslav Gritsenin, Enver Dzhemakulov and Konstantin Merzlikin. The construction of the cosmodrome "Vostochny" is one of the most ambitious construction projects of the country bringing together 1500 members of student building groups of Russia.

The cosmodrome was visited by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev. "This is a unique historical experience. You are involved in this just as once your predecessors were involved in the construction of the Baikal-Amur Railway and other major sites of our country ", - said Dmitry Medvedev at the meeting with students. - It is impressive, of course."
