Students of the SSAU discussed the play "Not registered in the list"

On the eve of Defender Day the students of the Faculty of Technology Management watched the play based on the novel by Boris Vasilyev "Not registered in the list" in the Stavropol Academic Drama Theater named after Lermontov.

The performance about boundless courage, heroes which the country needs so much today, did not leave indifferent the students. After the performance they said that such performances remind people of those thanks whom they can enjoy life and peace weekdays. Our memory is our conscience. Such performances do not allow to forget what price went for a great victory.

There were the early days of the war, in the same row were panic and heroism, despair and courage, betrayal and mutual assistance. Brest Fortress, more than a month kept the defense, destroyed the illusion of the enemy for an easy victory. Nikolay Pluzhnikov was in the fortress for the few hours before the start of the war. He could leave the castle with his beloved, he would not be accused of desertion, because his name did not appear in any list, he was absolutely free. But he continued to defend the fortress.

"This performance is about a choice: surrender or a fight to the end, betray his comrades or stay and perform the civic duty," - say the guys. Concluding the discussion about the performance they summed up: "This production is about human dignity, courage, qualities, unjustly forgotten today, even though the need for them is sharp as ever".
