Successful start of Young Scientists of agrarian university into big science

The project of assistant of the pharmacology and therapy department V. Shakhova "Development of microencapsulated forms of antimicrobial agents for combined therapy of overbarrier bodies" won the regional competition Startup Tour.

The contest took place in Krasnodar, it was attended by more than 500 entrepreneurs and scientists from the southern regions of Russia. According to the results of the regional competition there were 15 projects that received the recognition of experts and investors of the Russian innovation market. Teams that passed the preliminary selection presented their innovative projects to the jury - respected experts and venture investors.

V. Shakhova won in the direction of "Biotechnology in agriculture and industry."

In total 75 projects were selected after an absentee selection, including 4 young scientists from SSAU: Dmitry Sidelnikov (the project "Development of the dehydrator of wet organic disperse systems"); Olesya Yatsyk (the project "Development of test systems for the evaluation of meat efficiency of sheep by allelic variants of the myostatin gene"); Ivan Chuksin (the project "Production of the improved seed potato material using aeroponics method") and Valeria Shakhova (the project "Development of microencapsulated forms of antimicrobial agents for combined therapy of overbarrier bodies").

"Skolkovo" Fund awarded the winners with tickets to the Startup Village - the largest annual startup conference in Russia, which will be held in the "Skolkovo" innovation center in June 2016. The winners received the right to participate in the Startup Village competition without undergoing further examination.

The jury noted the Ivan Chuksin’s project, who as well as the winner received an invitation to participate in the Startup Village.

Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology presented the participants of the competition, who won the first place in all tracks, except in the direction "Information Technology", an invitation to participate in the finals of the "Start" program. The selection by results of which the projects will receive a grant of of 2 million rubles will be held in June at the conference Startup Village.
