This date is not forgotten
On January 21, 2015 students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the town meeting dedicated to the 72th liberation anniversary of Stavropol from the Nazi invaders. On January 19, 1943 the Red Army Command gave an order to liberate the city from the Nazis. On January 21 at five o'clock in the morning Soviet soldiers and civilians liberated our town. Every year this day World War II veterans, home front workers, less age prisoners of concentration camps, the leaders of the region and city, citizens, students, pupils gather at the Memorial of military glory to honor the memory of the victims.
The meeting has started the cycle of military-patriotic events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Great Victory. Among them, the patriotic youth projects and campaigns run by the students of our University. These are projects: "Children of War", "The streets named after them", action "Back to the past." Recently at the SSAU the competition of creative works "The Great Patriotic War through the eyes of today's youth" began.
