In SSAU the leaders of regional Council of veterans discussed patriotic education of youth
On Plenum of the Stavropol regional public organization of veterans of war, work, Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies which took place in the Stavropol GAU, with the report "Patriotic education: answers to time calls" the Vice rector for educational work I.V. Atavov acted.
Members of regional Council of veterans, deputies of the Duma of Stavropol Krai, heads of city and regional youth public organizations, representatives of the city hall took part in work of Plenum.
One of the main subjects which was considered on Plenum, is a work of primary veteran organizations for formation at youth of feeling of patriotism, a solution of tasks of improvement of international, moral and labor education of younger generation.
The report on this directions of activity of the organization was made by the chairman of regional council of veterans A.A. Gonochenko. The vice rector for educational work I.V. Atanov told about methods of improvement of patriotic, moral, labor education of students of the Stavropol state agrarian university. He noted that at university the system of civil and patriotic education is under construction according to the directions of the state youth policy in the Russian Federation. Also it called the key areas of work in 2015: the citizen and the patriot, youth and elections, student's projects – the Great Victory, students with the public veteran organizations, the museum of higher education institution as the center of patriotic education of youth, training of youths of premilitary age for service in armed forces of Russia, university – the territory of tolerance, creativity young – great Russia, etc. I.V. Atanov sounded indicators of efficiency of activities of higher education institution for patriotic education of students. For example, in 2015 it was carried out 320 actions more, than in previous year. Their total made 1300. Respectively, also the number of the students taking in them part increased. More than five thousand people were acquainted with actions of civil subject, more than 1100 research works are prepared, one and a half thousand children were a part of student's groups. In 2015 students of agricultural university won the Grand Prix of the interregional festival "Soldier's Envelope", became winners of the All-Russian competition "Innovation Education — 2015" in the nomination "The Best Project in the field of Patriotic Education", the All-Russian competition of the youth projects "My Country — My Russia". Three years ago at university the Center of civil and patriotic education of students "Patriot" who carries out big educational work is created. Also I.V. Atanov noted release of collections of scientific articles "70 years of the Great Victory: historical memory and the present", "War, the people, a victory in historical and cultural memory", the methodical collection about effective technologies civil and patriotic in education in SSAU" and others.
Veterans discussed the work which is carried out at university with interest and expressed confidence that methodical development and positive experience of agricultural university in questions of patriotic education of students will be used and on other platforms.
