Economic faculty - 54 years!

Faculty of Economics is 54 years from the formation. The celebration took place on the eve of the 85th anniversary of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship. In this first part of the event the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Socio-cultural service and tourism held International scientific-practical conference "Development of Entrepreneurship: New Horizons", and then- the ceremony of celebration.

The conference was attended by scientists and specialists of Higher educational institutions, research institutions, representatives of the state structures and real sector of economy: Deputy Minister of Culture of Stavropol Territory - a graduate of the Faculty of Economics in 1999 Denis Mikhailovich Sidorenko; Head of Economic Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory Alla Kamenetskaya; Head of Department for support of small and medium enterprises of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory Evgeniya Kotina; Deputy Head of the Committee for Economic Development in Stavropol city administration Denis S. Nikulin; President of the non-profit partnership "Guildya of Southern bakers, confectioners, the hospitality industry," Irina Lyakisheva; Pavel Pavlovich Mrvalevich, co-chairman of the Stavropol regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises "SUPPORT OF RUSSIA"; Professor at the University of Genoa, Vincenzo Bianco (Italy); Doctor of Law, Professor, Rector of the University of Applied Sciences Utena Gintautas Buzhinskas (Lithuania) and others. Also, representatives of strategic partners of the Faculty of Economics: the Chamber of Commerce, branch of VTB Bank in Stavropol, the Ministry of Property Relations of the UK of "Budennovsk Machine-Building Plant", JSC "Holod", JSC "Stavropolhleb" Concern "Energomera", "Agrofirma "Golden Field".

Further attention was presented with historical essay "Looking through the pages of history of economic faculty ...", reflecting the stages of development of the Faculty of Economics in the people and the fate of academic economists in the period from 1961 to the present, the latest achievements of the University and faculty in educational, research , innovative and creative activities.

There were a lot of warm words and wishes of further prosperity to leaders of the University! In conclusion - a celebratory concert.
