Students of SSAU became are members of the Сity Youth Сhamber

Eight students of the Agrarian University became the members of the Youth Chamber and five more became the reserve ones.

The main objectives of the Stavropol City Youth Chamber are to promote the involvement of young citizens to participate directly in the formation of a youth policy as well as its structuring and development; to develop legal and political culture of youth, its propaganda; to promote the realization of the legitimate rights and interests of young people in the elaboration and adoption of decisions by bodies of local self-government of Stavropol city.

In August the Stavropol’s mayor Georgy Kolyagin announced the beginning of the projects, reflecting the problems of today's youth and offering their solutions. Applications could apply their projects till early October and within two days successful candidates were interviewed. The members of the competition Commission - the head of the regional center Georgy Kolyagin, Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol City Duma Viktor Nadein and Aleksey Teryaev, head of the LDPR faction in the City Duma Alexander Kurilenko - thoroughly reviewed the project and talked personally with the candidates for membership in the Youth Chamber. According to Alexander Kurylenko, this year the number of submitted applications was rather high. There were a total of 64 documents, the maximum number of seats in the Youth Chamber, according to the Regulation, should not exceed 30, and 15 in reserve.

So, the main member of the Chair are: Daria Bukachova (3rd year student of Farm Electrification Faculty), Alexander Voroshilov (2nd year student of the Ecology and Landscape Architecture Faculty), Maria Deneva (4th year student of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty), Vladimir Doroshenko (graduate of the Farm Electrification Faculty, 2nd year student of Economics Faculty), Vladislav Idoidze (1st year student of the Farm Electrification Faculty), Inna Guliyeva (2nd year student of the Accounting and Finance Faculty), Catherine Patzuchenko (1st year student of the Farm Electrification Faculty), Elena Khomutova (2nd year student of the Farm Electrification Faculty).

The reserve fund: Ekaterina Averina (4th year student of the Farm Electrification Faculty), Maria Malysheva (5th year student of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty), Veronica Serikova (3rd year student of Farm Electrification Faculty), Anna Sidorova (2nd year student of the Ecology and Landscape Architecture Faculty), Ekaterina Shchetinina (4th year student of Farm Electrification Faculty).

Members of the Youth Chamber are the best representatives of the students. They have an active civic position, a strong commitment and a caring heart.
