Continuity of generations
Student’s team helped homefront worker and veteran of the university
Students of students’ specialized teams "Masterok" and "Zabota" helped the homefront worker and veteran of the university Valentina Petrovna Kosinova to solve her economic problems which has about 30 years worked as an assistant of the department of chemistry and plant protection in the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The students were eager to help Valentina Petrovna. The clapped out support for wicket and gate has served more than 60 years and required major repairs. Students dismantled the old support and laid down the new one, and repaired the gate. They were pleased to do something useful for the representative of the older generation, because they also have grandparents who need support and help.
For many elderly people it is important when someone not only helps them with the housework, but also shows them simple human support, conversation, dialogue. In the talk with the students Valentina Petrovna told about her life during the war years. Students also learned a lot of interesting things about the native university history, as the saying is, first hand.
Students congratulated Valentina Petrovna on the upcoming holidays and wished her good health, vitality, spiritual strength, and thanked the veteran for her contribution to the Great Victory.
Valentina Petrovna expressed great gratitude to the leadership of the university, the Dean of the Faculty for Agrobiology and Land Resources, Environment and Landscape Architecture, Prof. A.N. Esaulko, employees of the native department and the students.
