Childhood which has not been

In the framework of the Patriotic war children's project “Childhood which has not been" at Accounting and financial Department the Conference was held. The aim of the event is to strengthen the connection between generations of children and youth, develop a sense of pride and patriotism for everything that the kids felt during the Great Patriotic war. Project Manager- the student of 2-nd year of Accounting and finance Faculty Yu. Karpova.

To the Conference the former employees of the StSAU, who were children during the war were invited: teacher of foreign languages V. F. Karatayeva, Associate Professor of biology A.E.Zubov and Assistant T.D.Drachnikova. They talked about their childhood memories and feelings, when the Great Patriotic war started in Voroshilovsk (Stavropol), about how they dug trenches, bomb shelters, and how enemies destroyed the Jewish population and mentally ill people from the mental hospital, about machines-mobile gas chambers, the wounded soldiers. There was hunger, cold, unhappiness. B. F. Karatayeva sang a song about children of war.

Curator of the project for the Grachevski district, the education specialist N.V. Shripiyan in his speech emphasized that the youth should know the history of their country, feats of grandfathers and great-grandfathers because it is no future without past.

The event was attended by specialist of Department on educational work and social protection of students S.N. Yurchenko, Head of the Museum of University history O.N. Shmatko, the teachers of the Department of philosophy and history.
