Students of SSAU comprehend the art of cheese-making

The department of production and processing of agricultural products of SSAU technology held Olympiad "Cheese maker-erudite".

The participants were students of 4th year «Animal Food" and 3d year specialization "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products." The competition included two stages: theoretical (test) and practical - production of cheese.

Testing revealed the leaders who participated in the conduct of practical tour. One team produces Adygei cheese, and the other - the brine. The jury - teachers of the department O.V .Sychev, E.A. Skorbina and R.S. Omarov - noted a sufficient level of practical training, which allowed both teams to get the cheese, the relevant regulatory criteria. Summing up, O.V Sychev said: "Both teams are perfectly coped with the task; the cheese is prepared in compliance with all rules and regulations. The winner, as the saying goes - friendship. According to approximate data, there are more than 2000 varieties of cheese, and each has its own unique technology. And you have to understand how important it is to observe it, to get a unique cheese. "
