Semen Lukich fought on the Leningrad, Voronezh, and Steppe fronts. He was awarded two orders of the Patriotic war II degree and the red Star. In 1971-1985 worked as a senior lecturer of the Department of scientific communism in Stavropol Order of Labor Red Banner agricultural Institute.
Students gave veterans flowers and gifts – handmade cards, thanked the veteran's for taking the time and effort to meet and wished him good health and long life.
