The best organization of sports leisure activity of students – Stavropol State Agrarian University
February 8, 2015 - the All-Russian competition for the best organization of the activities of the student government in professional educational institutions and educational institutions of higher education.
There were more than 400 applications from 62 regions of the Russian Federation and only 50 universities reached the final. It was part of the Russian school student government "Leader of the 21st Century" in Rostov-on-Don.The primary trade union organization of students of Stavropol State Agrarian University was the winner in the nomination "The best organization of sports leisure activity of students."
"Our students, starting from the first days at the university, are attached to a healthy lifestyle. They involved in the Cup of freshman, competing in sports such as athletics, volleyball, basketball, chess, table tennis, mini-football, weight-lifting, arm sport, darts. Then they continue their trainings in our sports clubs, and there are 22 of them. We have more than 4000 thousand students in Agricultural University who are actively involved in sports life of the university, "- said the chairman of the primary trade union organization of students in Stavropol State Agrarian University, Nikolai Golovin.
The jury assessed the implementation of the university activities aimed at promoting sporting activities, practices of implementation at the University intercollegiate, and municipal, regional, county and all-Russian activities in the field of university sports and student participation in competitions at various levels.
