Chess matches, athletics competition, basketball tournament: Who is ahead?

Some more kinds of sports competitions took place within the university freshman Cup and VII traditional outdoor basketball tournament among men's teams for the Cup of "Teploset".

It is time to sum up the results of the next stage of the university competition for freshman Cup which become so popular among our freshmen.

So, after a chess battle which took place on 3 October, the leaders are first-year students of economic faculty. On the 2nd place - Accounting and Finance Faculty, on the 3 rd - the team of the faculty of veterinary medicine and that of technological management.

According to the results of competitions in athletics on October 5, the winners are freshmen of Accounting and Finance Faculty, "silver" was taken by the economic faculty, "bronze" by the team of faculties of veterinary medicine and technological management.

University boys basketball team took part in the VII traditional outdoor basketball tournament among men's teams for the Cup of "Teploset". Six teams competed for the Cup from 26 September to 5 October: "Teploset", Stavropol State Agrarian University, North-Caucasian Federal University, Stavropol Regional Clinical Hospital, "INFA" and "Mikhailovsky vepr". The victory in the tournament was won by the organizers of the competition - "Teploset" team. Our university team won the honorable third place.
