Results of the Olympics of the SSAU teachers and staff
Today, a solemn closing of the traditional XV Games among the teachers and staff "SSAU Sports Olympus - 2015" took place at the Agrarian University.
Awarding of winners has resulted in a great sports festival. It began with a parade of participants, presentation of the guests of honor and welcome the chief judge of the competition, the rector of the Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhacheva. Competitions were held in 12 sports and a status to two nominations. The Olympics was attended by over 300 people. Winners were determined not only in the team competitions, such as mini-football, street ball, volleyball, relay race, but also personal, namely, chess, arm sport and others. During the Olympic, a positive attitude, sports passion, faith in his team were dominated on sport fields.
The Rector of the UniversityV. I. Truhachev handed the Chief Cup competition to the team of the Agrobiology and Land Resources and the Environment and Landscape Architecture Faculty. Also cups, diplomas, prizes were awarded to winners in individual and team championships.
Demonstration performances of gymnasts, the dance group "Stylish things" graced the closing ceremony.
The Chairman of trade union of workers of agriculture of Stavropol Territory S.G.Marnopolsky, congratulating the team SSAU with the completion of the competition, said about the significance of such events that promote healthy lifestyles, improve performance of teachers and staff, strengthen their health.
Special words of gratitude of the rector of the university were spoken to the representatives of the older generation of the teaching staff, who has been actively participating in the Olympics, charging the youth with optimism, fortitude. "Our veterans are young forever,they are a good example of creative longevity" - said V.I. Truhachev.
15 years ago, he took the initiative and the reconstruction of the sports complex hosted the first Olympics of the university teachers and staff, which later became an annual event. Teachers say that sport does not prevent the work and research activity, on the contrary, contributes to the growth in professional terms. But the opponents of the team only help to set high goals and achieve them.
Competitions with inherent social, health and educational functions are an integral part of the corporate culture of Agrarian University. Games of the teachers and staff of the university have reached a mature level of organization and conduct, of sports results and significance in the life of each participant. But it is always young as the SSAU teachers and staff are young, they secure in the knowledge that active position in life, physical culture and sports are the most important means of formation of a healthy lifestyle.
