In sports orbit: bronze at the championship of the SFD and student victories in individual competitions
May 5-8 in Maykop, the championship of the Southern Federal District on Greco-Roman wrestling among young men was held. The event was organized by the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports "Federation of Wrestling" of the Republic of Adygea. One-year student of the faculty of veterinary medicine Arsen Oganyants took third place in the weight category 85 kg. Recall that more recently Arsen won bronze in the format of the North Caucasian Federal District Championship. From the bottom of the heart we congratulate the young sportsman with the award and we wish the further successes in study and sports!
It is also worth noting and other personal achievements of students of the Agrarian University in the current month. So, guys and girls who have decided to participate in the "Victory - 2017" tiade showed themselves perfectly. Among active patriotic tourists are first-year students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of SSAU Dmitry Ryzhkov and Dmitry Kovalev, Ilya Vozzhaev and Nikita Geger, first-year economics faculty Valeria Shevchuk and student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Yulia Takaeva.
On the 7th and 8th of May at the stadium "Dynamo" were competitions in athletics for the Cup of the Stavropol Territory among higher education institutions. The national team of SSAU consisting of 18 people took part in 17 kinds of competitions and took the II place in the team event and 1st place in the relay race at a distance of 4х100 meters among the girls.
The best results of the students are as follows: Kropivko Ekaterina (3rd course of the UFF) - I place in the long jump competitions; Shestakova Olga (4th year EF) - I place in javelin and nucleus throwing; Volkov Grigory (1 course FAiZR) - I place in the throwing of the nucleus and II - in disk throwing; Shabalkina Elizabeth (2nd course FTM) - II place in the race at a distance of 100 and 200 m; Stepakova Yulia (1 course EF) - I place in disk and core throwing; Nosov Nikita (1 course UFF) -I place in the race at a distance of 100 m; Mizyura Anastasia (3rd year EF) - I place in the race at a distance of 400 m; Tkacheva Anastasia (2 course FTM) - I place in the race at the distance of 1500 and 800 m; Anna Kosheleva (1 course FVM) - I place in the race for a distance of 3000 m and II in the 1500 m race; Raskidaylova Taisiya (1 course EF) - I place in the race with a barrier at 400 m and II - in the run at a distance of 400 m; Voronina Lyubov (2nd course FTM) - II place in the 800 m and III run in the 1500 m race; Donchenko Diana (3 course FAiZR) - II place in the race at 3000 m; Tolokonnikov Alexey (4th year EF) - II place in throwing a spear.
