The winners of the finals of the European championship in powerlifting and bench press according to the People's National Association powerlifting, which culminated in Mr. Mikhailovsky, were students of Stavropol State Agrarian University - Daniel Proskurin (Veterinary Faculty) - in the weight category of 100 kg he succumbed to the weight of 565 kg, and Jaroslav Patuca (Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization) - in the weight category 82 kg, he lifted 542 kg 5. Their coach - world-class athlete Nina Muhortova - became the winner in the "Sportswoman of the Year."

The competition was attended by representatives of various schools of Powerlifting of the 20 regions of the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
