In the 16th Spartakiad of teachers and staff the street ball competition is over

To the basketball court 13 teams of teachers and university staff came out.

SSAU is the university of healthy lifestyle. «The university sports complex was created for the important aim – to attract the maximum quantity of students and staff to the sport. Healthy lifestyle is useful for all: both youth, staff, employers and the country in general», - the SSAU rector says. Under his initiative at the University a tradition of the teachers and staff sports contest was created.

Regular competitions of 16 sports contest were streetball. Athletes fought in amateur male and female championships. Among men, the best result was showed by basketball players of Accounting and Finance Faculty.

The second place was won by electroenergetic Faculty, and the third one – by Agrobiology and land resources Faculty. Among women the most well-directed were basketball players of Faculty Agrobiology and land resources, the second place was won by Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, and the third place – by electroenergetic Faculty.

Spartakiad participants are sure that you can involve others to the sport only by your personal example. The winner is not that who won all the competitions, but that one who took part in them. The most important is self conquest.

The Spartakiad will go on with the mini-football and table tennis competition.
