Sports year began with a victory!

Judoist Tatiana Zadorozhnaya, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics Stavropol State Agrarian University, opened a new sports season and won a gold medal.

Russian judo tournament dedicated to the memory of Honored Russian coach Nikolay Danilovich Popov, held on the 21-23 of January in the capital of Bashkortostan. More than 200 participants from various regions of the country fought on the mat of the prestigious tournament in honor of the creator of the first in the city of Ufa school sports in sambo and judo, which opened in 1965.

Wrestling the athlete from Samara down in the final Tatiana Zadorozhnaya won first place among juniors and girls up to 23 years in the weight category up to 63 kilograms.
