Basketball players of SSAU became winners of the final round of the regional championship.

Men's basketball team of SSAU became the bronze medalist of the Fourth championship of the Stavropol Territory.

Let us recall that the competition involved 16 teams that competed during eight months. Four strongest went out to the "Final Four": the Stavropol State Agrarian University, "Teploset" (Stavropol), "Essentuki" and "Arnest" (Nevinnomyssk). The best player was voted student Agrobiology and land resources Faculty Roman Vorobiev, and also the work of member of student arbitrators’ brigade of the Economics Faculty Ilya Stelmahov was noted.

The ceremony was attended by State Duma Deputy O. Timofeeva, Chairman of the Duma Committee on Budget of the Stavropol region I. Andryushchenko and Deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Legislation of the Stavropol region, state construction and local self-government S. Shevelev.
