SSAU freshman won KICKBOXING WORLD CUP!

1st year student of Economic Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University Bakhtamyan Grant managed to win at the World Cup «World Cup Diamond» Kickboxing (in the "K-1"), which took place 21-25 September 2016 in Anapa, Krasnodar Krai.

The boy managed to climb the highest podium in the competition, there were more than 1,500 athletes from 20 countries of the world!

Young (age group 17-18), light weight (weight up to 54 kg), our Grant was very keen to this victory. Last year he won the bronze medal at the World Cup in the age group 15-16 years. And now took a new medal!

Grant Bakhtamyan has numerous victories and prizes in regional competitions - in the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District, and not only in kickboxing, but also in fighting. In addition, he is repeat winner and prize-winner of the regional and city competitions in these sports.

In the near future of athlete - to achieve long-term goals. "I will try to show a good result at the championship and the Cup of Russia, the European Championship and the World Championship in kickboxing, which will be held in the first half of 2017", - told us Grant.
