The arm wrestlers of the SSAU – winners of "Kalmykia Cup of friendship 2015"

Students of SSAU became the winners of the XI all-Russian open armwrestling tournament "Kalmykia Cup of friendship 2015".

In weight category up to 50 kg the second prize was taken by the 3rd year student of the faculty of Veterinary Medicine Eugenia Lobasheva. The silver prize-winner of tournament in weight category up to 110 kg became the 2nd year student of the faculty of Veterinary Medicine Ruslan Gashimov. The third result in the weight category up to 55 kg showed the 3rd year student of the Economic Faculty Valery Chinaev. "The competition was held last weekend in Elista - said the coach of our boys Eugeny Nesmiyanov. The President of the Russian Federation of wrestling Alexander Filimonov took part at the opening ceremony of the event. The tournament was attended by 350 athletes from 22 regions of the country. It had the status of master, i.e. the participants performed standards of the Unified all-Russia Sports Classification on the title of "Candidate of master of sports" and "Master of sports".
