"We are all neighbors in the world"

Interuniversity round table dedicated to the Day of National Unity, on the eve of the All-Russian festival held in Stavropol State Agrarian University.

National Unity Day is significant for Russian national holiday, it is celebrated in memory of the events of 1612, when the people's militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders.

The guests of the round table "We are all neighbors in the world" were: Vice-chairman of the Youth ethnic Council of the Stavropol Territory -Rusin Evgeny, Ataman assistant to work with non-governmental organizations; Batchaev Rustambek, chairman of the Foundation for the promotion and development of the Karachai-Balkar youth "Elbrusoid"; Anton Vardanyan, executive director of the Armenian National-Cultural Autonomy of Stavropol "Nairi", as well as Secretary of the Youth ethnic Council of the Stavropol Territory Farahmand Paris and members of ethnic councils of the Stavropol State Medical University and the North Caucasus Federal University.

During the meeting, the students learned about the history of the national holiday - National Unity Day, learned the culture and traditions of other people's, discovered new names of writers, composers, artists, film directors of our time.

Thus, representatives of Stavropol State Agrarian University, represented by the newly elected Chairman of the Inter-Ethnic Student Council Islam Yahyaev and his international team composed by Mansour Chantiev, Dayanat Magomedova, Zalina Shavtikova, Diana Karmova, Julia Kozhevnikova, Tamila Djumalieva, Emil Iskenderov, Evgeny Reshetnikov, Barbara Manelova, Camila Bekkuvatova, Angela Eseneeva, Zaur Laypanov and Sergey Beglaryan prepared interesting presentations about the culture of Russian, Abaza, Nogai, Greeks, Armenians, Turkmen, as well as the people of Karachai-Cherkessia, Chechnya and Dagestan.

According to the students' youth, non-standard event fully enabled to realize that the unity of the people in all times has been and remains the main national idea of Russia, its key is a strong future. To achieve national success, we should all be together - regardless of age, occupation, nationality and political affiliation.
