Meeting of Stavropol State Agrarian University students with a priest Antony Skrynnikov

Department of Philosophy and History organized a meeting of agrarian students with the Head of the Department for Youth Affairs of the Stavropol Diocese, Candidate of Philosophy, a member of the Russian Union of Journalists, and a priest Antony Skrynnikov.

The event, which involved students of Electric Power Faculty, Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, Faculty of Economics, Accounting and Finance Faculty, was held on April 4 on the basis of Electric Power Faculty.

The faculty was actively assisted in organizing and conducting the meeting by teachers of the Department of Philosophy and History under the supervision of the head of the department, assistant professor S.P. Zolotarev, Professor I.I. Gulyak, assistant professor I.N .Kravchenko.

It should be noted that this event was carried out in compliance with the instructions of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory V. V. Vladimirov, on the Memorandum of June 28, 2016 "On Joint Actions for Implementing Public Security Measures and Preventing Extremist Activities in State Educational Organizations of Higher Education in the Stavropol Territory". The whole project includes a series of lectures on terrorism, religious extremism, and suicide.

The meeting with A. Skrynnikov took place in a creative atmosphere, sparked a lively discussion in the student environment, the children asked many topical questions on the problem of religious extremism and sectarianism in the Russian Federation.
