Forming the students tolerance

Stavropol State Agrarian University 17 -24 March 2015 – Week of tolerance! The teachers of the Department of Education, Psychology and Sociology (Professor S.I. Tarasova) carried out a series of events. The final stage was a scientific-practical conference "Formation of tolerant attitudes of students in a multicultural region." The purpose of the action is a formation of tolerance of the young students and prevention of extremism in the North Caucasus. Participants were students of 1-3 courses of the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Electrification in Agriculture and the Faculty of Agrobiology and land resources.

At each event participants actively discussed establishing a constructive inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue. For the attention of students was proposed a documentary "Modern recruitment. Caution - ZOMBIE "where clearly shows how distorted circles of radical Islam teaches traditional values. They are drawn into extremist groups growing number of young people changing their identity and life guidance, making completely abandon friends and family.

Formation of spiritual safety and tolerance among students was and remains one of the most important areas of educational work at Agrarian University.
